A canopy on the bed set for a queen, a beach overlooking the Indian Ocean, and Tanzanian culture busting out the seams. I can’t think of another place I would have preferred to be in that moment or a place in Zanzibar that could have offered a better experience. Great weather, great food, and the staff were some of the friendliest people you ever want to meet. They even invited me to their neighboring village to learn about their tribe.
