When staying in a foreign country, location is key. I could have not been more pleased with the location of Claudia and Sergio’s apartment. After walking out the front door, you have a gelato shop a block to your left, and to your right, four restaurants with a plethora of options. A little further down, you have a grocery store and a market. Across the street, you have two hotels, which have restaurants, bars, and wi-fi cards available for purchase. All of those locations are just steps away from a boardwalk, which stretches miles. The boardwalk makes for a great location to walk, run, fish, or simply relax and watch the water change from low tide to high. The apartment itself is cozy and beautifully decorated. It has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and amenities we needed that we didn’t think to ask for, such as a cleaning service (free of charge), a cell phone to be able to communicate issues with Claudia, and to communicate transportation needs to her brother-in-law Fernando. It was also very convenient to have Fernando pick us up from airport for a small fee. If you are planning a trip to Havana, a decision to book with Claudio and Sergio is a decision you will not regret.
