Sheraton Rio Hotel & Resort

A high-rise resort on an angle, half the resort face towards the cliffs, and the other half resting on the Copacabana beach. I don’t speak a lick of Portuguese, however, from the moment I checked in, the staff made me feel right at home.  So much at home that when I checked out after a week, the restaurant staff gave me a bottle of Brazilian Vodka as a keepsake. The group I was traveling with had a strange flight time, so I enjoyed the feature of being able to keep my personal items in the spa locker room with a lock and key for a small fee once we checked out of our rooms. I plan to return to Rio and when I do, there won’t be a second thought on where I am staying!
